FGS Programs

This program is free for anyone who is interested in coding! No previous experience in coding required. If you are first-generation and/or low-income, you will receive a "First-Gen Tech" certificate after completing the program! 

We recognize the importance of teaching computer science, especially to first-generation and/or low-income students, on account of the impact today’s rapidly growing, technology-based industries have on our society. Therefore, we partnered up with Acton Institute of Computer Science (AICS) to launch our new program for anyone who is interested in learning to code. 

• Classes meet one hour per week for eight weeks. They will begin the week of 1/31, and end the week of 3/28. 
• We will not have any classes over February Break from 2/21-2/27.
• Registration closes on Friday, 1/28 at 11:59PM PST.
